Connectors
Connectors are used to connect specific 3rd party systems into Centro.
Crestron Home
Crestron home connections are made by loading a driver to the crestron home system.
The Driver is configured with:
- The Correct URL for the Centro API (of the Sub-tenant)
- A friendly name used to identify the connector
The driver package can be downloaded from github. here
CENTRO. Crestron Home Connector v1.0.0.0
Once setup in Crestron Home each connection will show up as an Unlinked connector on the connectors page.
Linking Connectors
Press the edit button on the connector that you want to Link.
Connections are Linked to a Location and to a UI layout on the main connector page.
Link a Layout by pressing the Link Button on the desired UI Layout.
Link a Location by selecting the relevant location from the dropdown.
The Save button must be pressed after updating the linking.
Connector removal
Connectors can be removed manually by pressing the Delete Connector button but note that if a client software is trying to connect to a tenant then a deleted connector will reappear in the unlinked connectors.
Unlinked Connectors are automatically removed when no connection has been made from the client for more than 300 seconds.
