Access & Check-in
Centro gets a guest into the app, into their room and through the door with minimal fuss on arrival.
Getting into the app
A guest joins their stay by scanning a QR code or opening a secure link. Centro exchanges the code for a secure session and takes the guest straight to the right place — their stay, a specific location, or a room's controls — with nothing to type in.
Door access
For rooms fitted with supported smart locks, guests can open the door from the Centro app:
- In-app access — the app shows the doors a guest is entitled to, with a time-limited access code and, where supported, a remote unlock button.
- Wallet Keys — guests can add a mobile key to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and unlock the door with their phone. Centro issues these keys through its Flexipass Wallet Keys integration.
Check-in
Access is tied to a guest's stay. When a stay is created, Centro provisions the guest's keys and door access automatically, and — where Centro is linked to a property management system such as Mews — reservations flow straight in, so a guest's access is ready before they arrive.
The doors, locks and key types available depend on the hardware installed and the integrations your Centro administrator has enabled.
