Scenes
A scene is a saved preset that sets several devices at once. Instead of adjusting each light individually, a guest taps a single scene — Welcome, Relax, Movie, Goodnight — and the whole room changes to match.
What a scene captures
A scene stores a level for each light in the room, plus the colour of any RGBW zones. Recalling the scene returns every light to those saved settings in one action. Scenes are part of Centro's Room & Device Control.
Defining and reusing scenes
Scenes are defined per room by your Centro administrator and can be saved as a template to reuse the same set across similar rooms — so a whole floor of guest rooms can share one consistent set of scenes without configuring each room by hand.
Recalling a scene
- In the Centro app — guests and concierge staff recall a scene with a single tap.
- From a keypad — a physical keypad button in the room can be mapped to recall a scene.
Scenes are the quickest way to give guests a one-touch welcome — a single Welcome scene can raise the lights, open the shades and set a comfortable temperature as they arrive.
