Hi everyone.
Welcome to Centro.
My name is Jerry.
Today
we will explore how to update a Centro property and how to use it in
everyday tasks like updating a guest's details or responding to inquiries
directly from your messaging dashboard.
Centro properties are dynamic, reusable placeholders.
Customizable fields that store key information details like guest names,
check-In dates, or welcome messages.
They can be global or contextual specific to a location or user, and they
automatically update across the platform.
This allows your team to personalize communications and automate workflows
without repeating manual tasks.
they save time, reduce manual errors, and deliver a more personalized experience.
Let's say we want to update the user's name for a specific location.
In this case we'll work with apartment 1 0 1.
Start by navigating to the location dashboard, then select view
location button Here you'll find all properties assigned to this location.
In the property, quick search bar, Look for username, update the property
value, save your changes, and navigate back to the location to confirm
everything has been updated successfully.
Now let's use a Centro property inside a real message.
In this example, I 'm replying to a guest inquiry.
Go to your messaging dashboard and select the message you want to respond.
. You may use predefined quick message responses with Centro
property included to save time.
Once you hit send, you'll see that the Centro property has
been changed for the value.

quickly select and insert the right information and property into your

It removes the need to remember property keys or manually type anything.
As I type, I'll use the Centro property picker to insert key dynamic fields like
the concierge name, in this case mine.
The guest's name, their current stay details, and to close I'll add our
hotel's name at the end of the message.
As you can see, Centro automatically replaces the placeholders with the
correct values, creating a fully personalized message experience.
