How syncing works​

Once the integration is connected and your rooms are mapped (see Setting up Mews), the sync runs on its own.

As a booking changes​

  1. A reservation is made or changed in Mews. Mews notifies Centro, and Centro creates or updates the matching stay within a minute or so.

  2. The stay follows the booking's status. As a reservation moves through its lifecycle in Mews, the Centro stay keeps pace:

  3. The guest and room come across with it. The guest's details are attached to the stay, and the stay is placed in the Centro location and stay type mapped to its Mews room and category.

Only reservations under a Mews service you have enabled in Centro are turned into stays. This lets you sync the reservations that matter — for example rooms — while leaving other Mews services out. You choose these during setup.

Keeping data in sync​

  • Automatic. Centro listens for reservation and room changes from Mews and applies them within about a minute, so day-to-day bookings stay current without any action.
  • Manual re-sync. You can re-pull rooms, categories and reservations at any time from the integration page — useful after you add rooms in Mews, or when first setting things up. A manual reservation sync covers recent bookings rather than your whole history.
