In this Centro Administrators video, Jerry shows you how to set up Centro Messaging as a centralized hub for fast, organized, and personalized communication—built for use by service managers across your property.

Hello everyone and welcome to Centro.

My name is Jerry.

In today's video, we'll explore our powerful tool, Centro messaging.

Our goal is that by the end of the video, You learn how to customize messaging,

create new message types, set up quick responses and link messages to services

like room service, and housekeeping.

And finally, we're going to see how messages appear in real time.

Let's get started.

let's have a quick look at the Centro messaging dashboard.

Head over to the messaging dashboard view . Here you'll see all active

conversations, message types, and incoming guest messages across, your

facility . This dashboard helps your team stay organized and respond quickly.

Whether it is a room service request, a maintenance issue, or a general inquiry,

you can reply to messages in real time.

Use quick predefined responses to save time, filter conversation by

type status, and more so your team always stays on top of things.

Now let's go ahead and create a new message type.

Go to settings, customization, messaging, setup.

Then click add, new message type.

Let's call this one Housekeeping.

You can also add a custom icon, like a broom or a cleaning symbol.

Choose tags to make it easily recognizable.

Set up quick responses for concierge or front desk staff.

Once everything looks good, click save.

Want to see how it looks in the dashboard ? Just hit new message.

Select the recipient in this example, penthouse one.

Pick up a type like package delivery.

you may select a quick predefined message Or add a short text,

you can use our Centro property picker to select or enter user's name or your hotel

slogan to save time and then hit send.

User can reply immediately, and administrators are notified instantly.

And that notification message can also be sent via Slack teams, WhatsApp,

or via email, making sure it reaches the right team without delays.

And that's it.

With Centro messaging, you can streamline guest communication, Create

message types for each service, and manage it all in one place.

to a plug in or button so guests can request instant services like

housekeeping or do not disturb.
