Hello everyone.
Welcome to Centro.
My name is Jerry.
In this video, I'll show you how to create and customize wallet pass templates for
your Apple Wallet and Google Wallet users.
You will learn how to brand your passes.
Include system and user data and issue them directly to your
end users, ensuring a consistent professional look across all platforms.
Wallet Pass templates in Centro allow you to design reusable
layouts for mobile passes.
These passes can display your logo, colors, and tailored information such as
booking details, membership data or event access automatically pulled from your
system and personalized for each user.
They work seamlessly on both iOS and Android giving your users quick
access to key information from their smartphones wallet, app.
Let's create one together.
From your administrator dashboard.
Go to settings, customization, wallet templates.
Here you'll see a list of existing templates.
Click add, new.
Give your template and name and a description.
Something like hotel guest pass and hit save.
Once it's created, click edit so we can modify the pass to suit our application.
As you can see, the settings tab includes options to change the template name,
add tags and set expiry options like: Single pass, a pass with no expiry.
Valid for X days, a pass that will expire X days after issue.
Expires on, a pass that will expire on a dynamic date as set by a
context specific Centro property.
Now let's move over the template editor.
Think of this as your design workspace.
You can upload your logo and choose your brand colors,
Add background images or patterns.
Choose content to match your brand style.
Next, let's add dynamic data fields.
This can pull in real-time information from your system, like guest names,
room numbers, reservation dates, or even unique QR codes for scanning.
You can also add static fields for fixed messages, such as welcome to Centro
Hotel, or your pass to premium access.
When you're happy with the design and data mapping, click save.
Now.
Let's see it in action.
The system automatically fills in the personalized details and sends the
pass via email or a download link.
On the user's phone, the pass opens instantly in Apple
Wallet or Google Wallet.
Branded up to date and ready to scan at Check-In, event gate, or service points.
That's it, you've created, customized and issued a wallet pass template in Centro.
With these tools, you can provide your users with a mobile first on brand
experience that's quick, convenient, and consistent across devices.
Thank you so much for watching.
See you in the next video.
